This is a must for all sparkies, especially apprentices to have it nearby. I got given the engineers black book from an old friend and really like it, so I had a look online to see what else they had available and waited for the electrical edition to be released and bought it.
I liked it so much I bought the fasteners black book for myself and bought another copy of the electrical black book and sent it to my old mate! in return for what he 1st gave me.
I haven't spoken to him for a while, I hope he knows it was from me
Pros
It's easy to read/understand, has lots of information without going over the top e.g talking about the atoms and the molecular structure etc.), having the different sections make it good, the overall size is great, it's not like you have to carry a phone book around
Cons
I can't think of any or if I was to pick something minor probably about the sticky tabs, some can't be matched up with sections/chapters in the book or some sections/chapters don't have sticky tabs for them

Great reference book. I have the other two and when this came out I knew I had to have it. Each blackbook is a must have, and this is like the others. Well set out, quality paper and easy to read. Not being American the imperial can seem surplus, but that system is still lingering around and making a nuisance of itself. Can't wait to see what comes next. Good memory jogger. I haven't had a chance to fully utilitise it at work as I rarely encounter any electrical systems, but flicking through it is far more informative than my uni book for electrical
Pros
Easy to use, small, free multimeter
Cons
Binding like the other black books can be fragile and catch on pockets too

Great book, very handy and should be mandatory for all apprentices!
Only complaint is some of it's in imperial not metric (i.e steel conduit bending + other things) Maybe in the 2nd edition. But over all an outstanding bit of kit in the tool box for beginners & guru's. I bought 2! Would be great in an Android & iPhone app!
Pros
small, easy to understand, nice free multi-meter (keep that up!)
Cons
Some imperial references & measurements......Metric in Australia. But a great book!

Awesome little all in one reference! Would recommend to anybody in an electrical trade.
Pros
Great content for when you need to jog your memory on some things that you may infrequently do, but need to know.
Cons
Only minor quibbles.
*Perhaps a bit more info on AC theory, like RMS etc.
*The index tabs although quick to access most things might need a little more refinement in their placement, ie tools could be consolidated into basics and LED, Fiber optics and Data cabling could be split perhaps.

The only issue i find is every one else wants to borrow it. Almost as helpful as a screw driver, no toolbox should be without one. I have purchased one for each of my employees in order to keep mine!!!!
Pros
All 3 books in the series are well thought out, and majorly useful
Cons
Cant make coffee

Great book especially if you don't know electrical very well. Easy to learn information and laid out very well. Bought to assist in machine design and build. Exceeded my expectations on what I thought I was purchasing.
Pros
Compact, very useful, easy to read, lots of information including lots of helpful tables and explanations of various terms and theory's. Best part was the multimeter gift!
Cons
Spiral bounding can be crushed cause trouble turning pages, doesn't belong at the bottom of a tool bag...
